How to sit, and not sit, at the piano

I show how to, and how not to, sit at the piano, including if you use a bench or if you have to use a regular chair. The main points are:

  • Don't sit far back at the bench or chair. Instead, sit on the first half of it.
  • Don't place the bench or chair too close to the piano. You need "elbow room".
  • Your feet need to be on the floor. Children will need something under their feet, such as books.
